Rev. William T. Chaney, Jr. has served full-time in Christian ministry for over 30 years. As an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, William has planted two churches, revitalized a church, served a large member church, served as a Discipleship Adventure Guide, District Superintendent, and a New Church Strategist for Discipleship Ministries. Since 2008 William has also established a coaching and training ministry with 20 other coaches.
Rev. Chaney is also called Coach Chaney by pastors, new church planters, and lay leaders all across the nation with over 700+ coaching hours since 2008. This experience has created a deep understanding of the challenges that face today’s churches which influences the ministry of Chesterbrook Church.Pastor William’s unique blend of coaching experience, pastoral experience, theological education, and performing arts training positions him to create an engaging and transformative experience for the members at Chesterbrook UMC.
Jack Lee
Associate Pastor
Pastor Jack is the Associate Pastor of CUMC. He has been doing college and young adult ministry since 2013 and was given the bridge ministry since in 2016.
He seeks to bridge the next generation of Christians to the life of the Church and is currently focusing on college students coming in from KUMC of GW, a partner ministry of CUMC.
He loves to sing and make corny jokes that leave everyone hungry for more. If you ever need an amazing joke to lift your spirits, he is the one to go to!
