The Education Ministry at Chesterbrook UMC is a dynamic and vibrant ministry with a vision to raise up young people to live boldly because they know who they are in Jesus Christ. We desire to see our next generation to really understand they are deeply loved by Jesus and therefore they are free to love God, love people, and even themselves. Our ministry is so special because we teach our children and youth their identity in Christ.
Nursery (Ages 0-2)
We have a nursery for infants and toddlers up to the age of two. The nursery workers lovingly care for the children. They read to the children, sing with them, and care for all their needs. Our Nursery runs from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
SONrise Kids Ministry (Tots & Pre-K)
Our SONrise Kids learn about the Gospel through fun-filled activities, games, music, Bible Study, and sermon. We have a safe and fun environment for our kids. Our hope is to plant seeds so that they can have a strong and solid foundation of faith. SONrise Kids Ministry runs from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
SONshine Kids Ministry (Pre-K through 5th Grade)
We’ve got an exciting children’s ministry with awesome teachers! The entire ministry operates in the Education Building. Sunday Service with praise and message begins in the Multi-Purpose Room followed by Bible Study and activities in the classrooms. SONshine Kids Ministry runs from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
ALIVE Youth Ministry (6th through 12th Grade)
The ALIVE (Always Living In Victory Everyday) is a vibrant and active youth ministry that is moving strong with fun fellowship, thought-provoking discussions, life-changing Bible studies and inspiring worship. Students begin with praise, followed by in-depth Bible Study and then the sermon. ALIVE Youth Ministry runs from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
