a multi-ethnic congregation serving young families in McLean and Northern Virginia.
We dress casually, come as you are.
We offer child care for infants and toddlers and Sunday school for all ages, from preschool to high school seniors. Everyone who works with children are background checked.
Children can be dropped off at 10AM in our education building, and youth (6th-12th grade) begin with their families in the sanctuary.
We do that by helping people develop relational roots, finding and living into a purpose greater than themselves and experiencing the presence of God.
Every week Sam Yoon and Pastor William Chaney have a casual conversation about critical issues facing Chesterbrook UMC or the church in general. Look for new episodes or subscribe on your favorite podcast streaming platform.
ABOUT OUR LEADERS
We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds who seek to make authentic connections with others on their faith journey and deepen their personal relationship with God.
Our commitment is to build healthy relationships with each other, and in the community where we live so that we can worship God together and grow in the love of Christ.
We have a passion for serving others through our local and global missions, sharing God’s grace in the community, and living out our faith.
We seek to encourage one another in God’s family so that we can nurture the spiritual growth of children, youth, and adults in the community.
We aspire to greater balance in our lives and families so that we can live out God’s purpose.
